Blunt weapons can be used to strike, cross check, poke and even immobilize. The only real problem with them is use in a fight with multiple zombies. But that draws another argument to edged weapons, what do you do when faced with multiple zombies? In the Zombie Apocalypse, guns need to be reserved for dire situations such as a horde. Not only for their noise factor, but also the rationing of ammo. To be fair, no weapon is more useful than another, it all comes down the situation you’re in.
